Welcome! Here, you can find out more information about the flute lessons I provide and how these can be tailored to your needs. You will see that I am very flexible and can accommodate whether you are learning for music exam grades or just for fun. I am based in Whiteley, Hampshire, UK, so lessons take place at your home if you are in the south/central Hampshire area, although I also offer Zoom lessons, whether local or where ever you are located.

I am passionate about playing the flute and have been for the past 30 years. I come from a musical family, my father was in the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra. James Galway is a great inspiration to me. I have played with the BBC Symphony Orchestra (Maida Vale Studios London), Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra (various South/South West venues), BBC Ariel Orchestra (Maida Vale) and Charity Symphony Orchestra. I am a Member of the Incorporated Society of Musicians (MISM). I have composed some music for a project entitled 'Creative Interpretations of the Microworld' funded by the Vice-President's Fund Award of the Royal Microscopical Society. I am also learning violin, viola and clarinet and have played the trumpet to grade 6 standard.
I started my flute tuition business in 2013 and it's been a pleasure to see my students enjoying music, progressing and passing their music exams, if they chose to take them. Please see my Prices and Contact pages for more information. I look forward to chatting with you about your requirements.
